Chulu West peak (6,419 m.) Climbing is one of the most challenging trekking peak climbing in Annapurna region of Nepal. Chulu west peak is a part of Manang Himal which in turn is the integral part of the Damodar Himal. This peak is bounded by the Marsyangdi Khola in the south and Mesokanta-La. Chulu West Peak climbing demands previous trekking or climbing experience with good skill of using the climbing tools. Many of the climbing parties mistakenly climb the Central peaks - lying just east of Chulu West thinking it to be the Chulu West. On having climbing permit of Chulu East or Chulu West you can attempt to Central peaks (6,429 m). Chulu West peak climbing is the excellent combination of the classic Annapurna circuit trekking and the most challenging peak climbing. To climb the peak the trail ascends up gradually from the Manang valley passing Thorung La (5,416 m) pass up to the Chulu central where we set up our base camp for attempting the main Chulu West peak. We attempt the peak via its north -west shoulder where on the way to climb we set another camp or alter-native camp on a snowy plateau above 5,530 m. From The high camp or alternative camp we approach the summit climbing the narrow snowy and steep ridge with the help of the fixed rope. We descend down the peak via same route.

Best Season to Trek in Nepal:

Autumn (September - November) and Spring (March - May) is the best trekking season for the trekking and mountaineering in Nepal. Weather is mostly clear and temperature is moderate which offers beautiful views without any obstruction. Spring collects beautiful flowers, plants and rare animals Walking is also very much suitable during this season.

Summer (June - August) and Winter (December - February). Though Summer collects heavy monsoon rainfall it is very much clear to trek around Mustang, Dolpo and Nar- Phu valley since they are rain shadow areas. Tibet is much more favorable for Tibet trek. Everest,  Langtang and Annapurna are always comfortable to trek even in winter season.

Experience & Fitness:

Trekking in Nepal for Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek does not require past experience, though we have challenging route in Everest compared to Annapurna our itinerary suggests to walk comfortable distances. Trekking in Himalayas always takes us to challenging altitudes and rocky routes, demands proper rest time and acclimatization to sustain their strength. We always have both listed properly in our itinerary. However certain training like Running, Skipping and other workout will definitely help you in roots.

Altitude sickness is a significant risk when trekking on any trails above about 2,500m. However good health, proper care and drinking plenty of water will definitely help you to prevent from altitude sickness. Every trekkers needs to be familiar with the heights so, for this we have life saving acclimatization days during the trek, peak climbing and expedition. Profit oriented is not only our priority! we have been helping some of ours very villagers from different corners of Nepal to sustain their social life and help them with education and required materials. We are always looking forward for interested candidates in this field to give helping hand to support and inspire them for their better beginning and good future. FAQs

Mount Chulu  West Peak Climbing is the best in Spring March to May would be best suitable time for Chulu West Climbing in doing an adventure of Chulu West Peak Climbing expedition in the eastern part of Nepal.
we should tell you the truth for the any Climbing / expedition in the mountains you must feel good and positive way also another point you should have enough time to climbing during expedition period because of Bad weather, insufficient crew there will be a part of unsuccessful point so do not look cheaper organization and short period of time could be happen anything in the mountains so you must be prepared every step of adventure our team will lead to complete your dream come true.

Mount Chulu West Peak Climbing in winter (December to February)
Winter is definitely for the more experienced trekker. The weather is unpredictable, and trails can change in hours due to snow. The sky will most likely be clear, and the scenery changes daily as snow drifts in.  On the positive side, fewer trekkers will be on the trail and lodges.  But if this is for you, let’s discuss the possibilities as lodges often close for the winter as locals go down to lower altitudes to wait out the cold so honestly inform you everyone winter is more dificult for high mountains above 6000 meters climb because of high risk so choose the best time of the year Autumn / Spring for Chulu west Climbing recommendable.
