The sunrise from the Poon hill over Mt. Machhapuchhere and other are very mesmerizing. This is also better itinerary for the beginner tourists because it will not only let you witness the outstanding Annapurna but also the lets you to explore the culture of the people living on the trail.
If our clients don’t have longer holidays, we can re-organize the itinerary in accordance to their stay in here. Before doing activities in local area ask your guide to take permission and support local peoples and respect them properly. Use local Foods and drinks to support economy for the mountain peoples of the area. Protect wildlife and interesting Himalayan creatures
Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM), is the largest and only international airport in Nepal, located 5.5 km east of the popular tourist neighborhood of Thamel then checking the hotel all briefing after final preparation of Annapurna Base Camp Trek
Whilst Kathmandu lacks direct flights to most of Europe, Africa, North and South America and Australia, the airport is well connected and it is usually possible to reach Kathmandu with only one change of flight, in most cases using the same airlines to reach Kathmandu to go to Annapurna Base Camp Trek
Your luggage is vulnerable entering and leaving this airport. Do not keep anything of value in checked bags, and if you lock the bag, the zipper may be forced open and broken. There is little to no security for your bags. You should also be aware that most luggage is treated quite poorly in Nepalese airports. It is recommended that all fragile and valuable items be kept in your carry on luggage.
Be aware that when you collect your luggage, an "airport baggage cart collector" may appear and assist you with a baggage trolley. Unless you insist on handling your own baggage, your items will be loaded on the trolley and will be conveyed with you to the entrance of the terminal. You will then be expected to pay a tip to this person. Arriving just beforehand in Nepal, you will often only have larger denomination foreign currency in your pocket, making the issue of a tip a bit of a problem. It's fine to pay the tip in foreign currency but make sure you have some small bills or coins on hand (even a dollar or two will be significant to Nepali).
Try not to exchange money at the airport as there are service charges and lower rates offered than what you can get in Thamel or elsewhere in the city. If you Exchange your Money with us, you can definitely get better rates than Money Exchange so before going to your trip ask , our responsible person of the Company. If you keep the exchange receipt, you could change back to your original currency at the rate on the receipt. It's honestly advice you that you can exchange Money before going to Annapurna Base Camp Trek because in the mountains there will be only Local currency workout otherwise you can get trouble for the bill payment.
There are no trains in Kathmandu and renting a car without a driver is not possible. Pre-arranged Hotel Transfers are available from most hotels and are included in most trekking / tour packages. Our Representatives will be standing outside of the arrivals doors behind a barricade and will hold a sign identifying our self. This form of transport is particularly helpful if you are a novice to Nepal, arriving late at night and unfamiliar with how things work in the country. You always keep contact with our company representative person to be secure because at the airport many brokers are fellowing you to ask money so you have to becarefull.

Carrying reusable water bottles and various forms of water purification tablets only option to use water can be purified before drinking. Water can be refilled in the bottles at the every teahouses available copiously on the trail. All trekking route needs Sleeping bag to be safe and comfortable travel in the mountain sides even though you will be staying in teahouses along the way, it’s important to have a good warm sleeping bag, the bedrooms are not heated to get the good trekking experiences, it is important that you sleep well and you don’t be freeze at night. If you add a fleece liner to your sleeping bag you will stay warmer . It's an easy and cheaper solution, rather than investing in a new sleeping bag to buy, It may also be too hot at lower altitude.
It is important that you must take a good footwear for the trek to Annapurna Base Camp. Hiking boots with a solid and profiled sole is a more comfortable. If you need to buy new boots, make sure you purchase them in a outdoor equipment store where you can get good advice from the staff. Make sure to break in your boots, before setting off on your trip to avoid blisters. We highly recommend wearing two pairs of socks, A pair of thin socks liners and a pair of thick woolen trekking socks. With this combination you can avoid many blisters during the trek
The temprature of Mountain side and City is completely different because of altitude so you must think about it to carry on for the packing.
• In Kathmandu, it is typically 28-30 degrees during the day, and a little chilly in the evening.
• In the mountains the temperature varies a lot during the day. At high altitudes it is cold in the morning when you start walking, but it could easily be 20 ° C at noon. When the sun sets the temperature drops dramatically and it may get down to minus 5 ° C at night. Clothes for hot weather is just as important as for cold weather.
• We highly recommend dressing in layer-by-layer. Woollen or other thermal underwear, with a T-shirt (not cotton) or shirt on top. A fleece or woolen sweater as the warm layer and then a windproof shell jacket on the outside.
• On arrival in Kathmandu you will get a large equipment bag in good quality. It is convenient to pack your belongings in plastic bags, to keep your stuff waterproof and it will be easier to maintain order in your bag.
• If you are unsure about the clothes and equipment you need to bring, you can always contact us and enquire about clothing and gear.
06 important Tips for a Doing ABC Trek (Annapurna Base Camp)
01: – Ask to be a part of a group with your trekking agency even if you are planning or prefer to go alone. Bookings in upper Annapurna sanctuary are not guaranteed, if you are alone they prefer to give rooms out to larger groups than small and individuals there are not working of written bookings are taken in most of the lodges - most are verbal commitments to your guide or trekking agency via phone saying they “will have” the room when you arrive but in busy season the first ones to get there with larger group end up taking your spot. Being of part of a group does not mean you have to be together with them during the day necessarily as long as you arrive at the same lodge at the same evening. Worst case you may end up sharing a 6 to 8 person room.
02: – Even though most of the lodges have electricity charging the phones is a hit or miss due to lack of enough outlets and lack of enough power. Have a battery powered or solar powered chargers for your gadget
03: – If you need to stay connected get an NCELL SIM card (and a CDMA phone) at KTM. Pretty much works all the way to MBC/ABC.
04: -- Village with best view of mountains from Tadapani
Best place to stop for tea or lunch Upper Sinuwa
Village with best view of village itself Chomrong
Villages you would rather skip staying Bamboo and Himalaya (because of no view and limited number of lodges).
05: – Skip the Poon Hill trek (that everyone seems to do early in the morning) if you are continuing on to Tadapani (which most of you will if you are doing ABC). On your way to Tadapani you climb to similar elevation as Poon Hill and get similar view of the Annapurna range on the way.
06: – Leave a day or two extra in your itinerary. Saw many people trying to squash trek from Chomrong to New Bridge in one day because they have to catch the flight and be back to work on Monday somewhere. Not a pleasant way to end your vacation to be hurry.
Upon your arrival at the airport our representatives person with a Himalayan Magic Treks (LOGO) sign board, to show you on your arrival exit gate. Who taking care of you with reception then safely drive to the hotel, Briefing about program details before going to Mountains. At the airport we cannot enter the interior of the airport because a person who doesn’t have a plane ticket is not allowed to enter.
We give our first priority to serve the customers with the most standard level. As for the accommodation, we have been providing star hotels in Kathmandu and even Mountain guest houses during the trek according to their need and requirement. We provide convenient Guest House with sound environment and hygienic foods for the guest to make healthy their trip. Everest region is popular and has wonderful accommodation facility compared to the condition of elderly times.
We get a paradise of delicious food in Kathmandu valley. We have a lot of restaurants with different cuisine in city but during the Lodge trek we get to eat Continental, Indian and Nepali menu choices like Pasta, Pizza, Mo: Mo, Soup, Dal Bhat, Hot drinks Tea & Coffee etc. Our Guides (Leader) will manage and advice the Food for beloved Guests to be satisfy
Being homeland of Himalayas, it’s obvious to have challenging routes, dangerous weather, health issues; any of these situations is enough to ruin your trip. Leading around the steeply hills and rocky routes is not a job of common climbers and trekkers. Himalayan Magic Treks have been providing native leaders and staffs working in this field perfectly since many years to overcome tough challenges and make your trip a golden memory. Our Guides are trained and well certified by the Government of Nepal. Our staffs have received proper emergency guidance and evacuation education in the Himalayas. They are also entirely aware of correct knowledge of first aid to the victims. We have never and will never compromise on the safety to our clients; therefore, we provide insurance and medical services during the trek and compensation when they needs.
To pass through challenging routes and to ensure your safety and comfort, we need adequate number of staffs. It includes guide, porter, driver, assistant guide and so on. We provide guide in every trip while one assistant guide to every 4-9 group of guests and two with every 10 crew. As for the porters, we send 1 porter for every 2 guest. The number of porter also varies to the load of the clients; a porter’s maximum load is 25 kg. Our staffs are professional and expert guides (leader) who can speak languages like English, French, Germany, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and other as required. We can also manage any other staffs as per your demands.
Equipment does matter to make your trip comfortable and better so you must be serious about check list before going to trek. We advice to take general equipment for the trek click here on link about equipment lists
Security is our primary concern from your first day you will be under our service and protection. Our staff will pick you up at the airport and will assist you to your hotel. We have proper remedial services during the trek with professional staffs and services like first aid, and we will help to arrange oxygen bag and helicopter service for emergency rescue. We also focus on acclimatization days to get rid of altitude sickness. We will take care of you on arrival to till on in your final departure date (airport drop services)
Autumn (September - November) and spring (March - May) is the best season for trekking and Mountaineering in Nepal. Weather is mostly clear and temperature is moderate in these seasons which offer beautiful views without any obstruction. Spring grants you beautiful flowers, plants and rare animals. Walking is favorable during these seasons.
Though summer has heavy monsoon rainfall, it is very much clearer to trek around Upper Mustang Trek, Upper Dolpo Trek and Nar Phu Valley Trek since they are rain shadow areas. Everest region, Langtang Valley Trek , Annapurna Region as well as Tibet Kailash Tour are always better to trek in winter season.
Trekking can be challenging and exhausting. So you might need some fitness training and experience for some tough trial. Nepal Trekking in Everest Base Camp does not require past experience or extreme fitness even though we have more challenging routes in different region compared to that of Everest. Trekking in Himalayas always takes us to challenging altitudes and rocky routes. You could ask for proper rest time and acclimatization to sustain your strength. Mountains can never be achieved in a day. We always provide the detail in our itinerary. However certain training like running, skipping and other workouts will definitely be beneficial in such challenging routes.
Altitude sickness is a major risk when trekking. You might experience it on any trails above 2,500 m however; good health, proper care and drinking plenty of water will definitely help you to prevent from altitude sickness. Every trekkers needs to be familiar with the heights and altitude so, for this we have life saving appropriate acclimatization days during the trek, We also provide certain medical support for your relief and emergency rescue through helicopter whenever the situation gets worse.
Our only goal in the Himalayas is to leave the memories and foot prints; Himalayan Magic Treks is concerned on environment pollution issue and global warming. We are always serious and genuine about our garbage during the trek especially during camping. We collect the rubbish and dump it to the proper place to protect our environment and also appeal our clients to do the same. We partake in every program conducted in KEEP (Kathmandu Environmental Education Project) and other environmental conservation programs. We want to promote Safe environment act and stand against pollution & global warming.
Sometimes trekking in the Himalayan region passes through unexpected complication like natural calamity, health challenges and many other problems that might result to the changes of the itinerary. So, we kindly request you to cooperate with your guide and the team in such situation.

Me and my friends made our first visit to Nepal last December, We choose ABC as our destination. For a people who are not so strong and well prepared like us, have to say that a well-organized from Nabin help us a lot to go up there.
My first impression with HMT is that, when we inquire for the trip, Nabin is very supportive and flexible in trip customization. And when we got there, we got a warm welcome from Nabin and his team. He’s friendly and sincere to support you. You can tell that he love what he’s doing when you met him there.
During our trek, our guide, Krishna, is so reliable and really calm, even we go with an annoyingly slow pace, He have a very good English, and a good story about Nepal to share with you along the way. Porters is nice and supportive. It’s a good experience to trek with them.
Too bad I can’t finish the trip since I have to evacuate from ABC by helicopter, but since I start to get injured, I got a very good support from Nabin and Krishna in contacting to the insurance company, to make sure that the helicopter take me to a good hands. Thanks to that too.
In short, It’s a very good experience with me to trek to ABC with HMT
Strongly recommend if you are looking for a good friend in Nepal !!

Singapore, 9th September, 2019Smooth arrangement
Our group of 6 did the ABC trek in mid November.
One of our friends corresponded with Nabin who's very fluent in English. The arrangement was smooth and he's prompt in responding to our queries.
We were greeted with garlands of flower hanged on our heads at the airport. Great hospitality.
They've helped us settled down quickly and brought us to rent good quality sleeping bags and down jackets at a very good price.
We had a guide and a porter assigned to each pair.
The guide, Kumar, arranged the lodging and pace the group on the go and he is flexible to adapt to the changes/challenges we faced in the mountain. He is also experienced enough to advise on the less dangerous route while making our way down.
On two occasions, our porters "fly" to the next lodge/tea after unfruitful calls from the guide to book our rooms. They ensured that we always have a good room despite during this high season.
Like what Kumar always emphasized: "we are like a family in this trek. anything, can happen in the mountains. We'll have to adapt."
Nabin is also very warm and sincere in welcoming us and closing everything off with a farewell dinner. It was really a good experience with Himalayan magic treks and they made us felt comfortable. We felt the sincerity from all.
Nabin and Kumar also helped me with a side request of getting chilli :))

Poland, 15th November, 2018Perfect Organization
Great organization, professionalism and client-oriented attitude are staples of Himalayan Magic Treks. From the very beginning until the last minutes I had only the best experience. This was my first trip to Nepal and Asia in that matter (I am from Poland) and one of the greatest experiences of life so far. And it confirmed my opinion that no matter the place - it is people who make all the difference and make the time spent worthwhile.
The contact with HMT was smooth from the very first email. After three back and forth messages I had all the information I needed. The replies from Mr Nabin were timely and on the point. I went for classic Annapurna Base Camp Trek + Poon Hill and never regretted my choice. I found the price very reasonable.
In Kathmandu MHT helped me exchange money, showed directions and arranged my visit to The Great Buddha Stupa which amazes with its architecture, colors and melding of two big religions.
My guide, Mr Sitaram, who also picked me from the airport and greeted with flowers on the first day, was a very experienced, friendly and a helpful person. He was also a very amusing guy and we clicked quickly. He was always able to answer my many questions about Nepal and was adjusting the speed of walking to compensate for photo opportunities (photography freak here) or fatigue. He also advised me on appropriate clothing for the weather conditions and helped me with food choices. I let Mr Sitaram choose the places for lunches and lodges for nights confident that I will always get the best local cuisine and good room. He never failed me once. Please remember though that the rooms are far from hotel standards but great comforts are not the point of treks.
December for me was a great time for trekking since there are less tourists on the trail and the temperatures are still ok.
The Nepal is amazing! From the glorious gleaming peaks robed in eternal snow, through the waterfalls scattered throughout the landscape to jungle-like forests inhabited by exotic animals (monkeys are here!) the country grips you with it's allure and let's you go only until the last moment. Smiling people are always eager to help, although older people rarely speak good English. Amazing experience overall.
I will be returning to Nepal next year but this time I won't have to wonder which trekking company to choose :)
BIG THANKS

Germany, 15th December, 2022The Best Trekking Company in Nepal
#1 Company in Nepal After few emails with Nabin, owner of Himalayan Magic Treks . We finally booked our trip with Himalayan Magic Treks before coming to Nepal and the process was faultless from the very beginning. We tailored a trek that suited us and our dates. We went to Poon Hill and ABC in 9 days program. Which is made by Nabin and his suggestion was absolutely perfect for us. We are very lucky to got contact this company from internet and Nabin answered promptly so it makes me 100 % trust this Company with his details information.
The tea houses we stayed in looked better than some of the other accommodation available. The guide and porters spoke excellent English and were very easy to speak with. They were keen to learn more and were very knowledgeable on the route and answered all of our questions. Their good humour allowed a sufficient amount of banter between our group which made it very enjoyable. They were always offering to help with any problems. In contrast, other guides and groups from other companies looked far worse. Magic Treks' were far better kitted out and professional than all the other guides and porters we saw. A level of professionalism that made us feel more at ease.
Going in wet season we had expected poor weather but were very lucky and got amazing views of at ABC despite not having been to Poon Hill because of poor weather.
Overall, Himalayan Magic Treks were professional and reasonable in price. If/when I return to Nepal I would only consider using them. A brilliant company and one sure to make your trip to Nepal amazing

Thailand, 8th September, 2017Wonderful trekking experience to Annapurana Base Camp
I’ve just came back from ABC trekking. To me, it is the best trek ever!. I’m impressed in such amazing scenery (ABC and Poonhill), good weather, nice people, good food (esp. pizza and French toast), good accommodations (Fish tail lodge at MBC and Chomrong Mountain View lodge at Chomrong are one of my favorite lodges) and especially well-organized tour (the Himalayan Magic Treks).
Our group has 17 members and fortunately everybody can successfully reach the ABC without any injuries or sickness. Reaching the ABC to me is not just a dream anymore. If you want to escape from somewhere, I do recommend Nepal. There you could find new inspiration by your own pace.
I would like to thank all my trekking friends for sharing this wonderful moment together and thank our guides (Dipak, Kris, and Bhupa) and all the porters from the Himalayan Magic Treks for your kind support and cheering along the way. Without you guys, my way to ABC could be very tough.

Singapore, 7th February, 2023ABC trek
A big thank you to Himalayan Magic Trek for providing 6 of us with a great experience to visit Annapurna Base Camp.
Nabin was quick and responsive to our itinerary enquiries. And making sure that our package was sufficiently prepared.
And our guide (Kumar) and 3porters (Umesh, Ashok, A.kumar) helped us with our pre-trekking preparations. They advised us along the way on what to lookout during the trek, and managed our necessities (eg. meals, rooms, water) throughout the 9-days. Our guide also provided us with a daily update of what and where we would be trekking towards.
Sightseeing tours in Pokhara and Chitwan Safar were also well organized through the company.
Once again, thank you very much for providing us an awesome 16days tour package in Nepal !
We will see you again !

United Kingdom, 7th February, 2023Trip of a lifetime - Annapurna November 2017
I wrote to a number of trek companies when we decided to book a trip to Nepal last November, and Nabin came back with the quickest and most detailed response. I ended up asking many questions in advance, and he sent through a number of tailor-made routes to fit in with our itinerary and my concerns about how tricky it would be.
He collected us at the airport and made me feel very welcome, and helped us to sort out our equipment and currency straight away once arriving at the hotel.
Our guide Sitaram was truly amazing for the whole trip, and it wouldn't have been the same without him. He had very good English, and was very knowledgeable about the mountains and history, answering our many questions along the way. I felt pleased we had picked Himalayan Magic Treks, as we were able to go at our own slow pace, and a group wasn't relying on us to keep up.
Sitaram was always very organised when we stopped at the end of each day, to give us a run down of the next day's activities, and the terrain to be expected. He showed us around Pokhara at the end of our trek and gave us some good recommendations. We really enjoyed our end of trek meal with both Nabin and Sitaram too!!!
We would 100% use Himalayan Magic Treks again!

Thailand, 7th April, 2017First time ABC Trekking
My friends and I (17 ppl) came from Thailand for trekking to the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) with Himalayan Magic Treks during 6 - 17 April 2017. My first impression was about flower at the airport and that's very nice. Our leader of guide team for this trip was Dipak, our guide was Krishna and Bhupa was assistant guide. They are all Karki Family and worked well as a team to take care and encourage us to the ABC. During the trip, we had a problem with our plan but they showed us the solution and didn't leave us alone until brought us to destination. Along the trip ,their service were surprisingly us, they served us the good lodge ( hard to find the available rooms for 17 ppl at that time) and good food ( i still remembered the menu for drink LOL) that made us stayed in very comfortable. One more thing about song, they taught us the old Nepali Song called "Resham Firiri". That's very beautiful song.
Thank you again for our guide and porters that gave us the memorable experience there.
Next year, I have a plan to EBC then it has no doubt that Himalayan Magic Treks will be my first choice to go with.

Slovenia, 8th April, 2016Wonderful experience
Nabin, the owner of this company, was really helpful with finding the right dates and the perfect trek for our trip. My aunt and I decided to go to ABC and trek for 9 days. Nabin made sure that the trip was flexible for everybody. When we arrived to Kathmandu and until our flight back everything was arranged by him (all the transportations, flights,..) so we had nothing to worry about. Our tour guide and carrier were very nice and told us a lot of interesting things about Nepal. They were very adaptable, as we changed our route a bit. They made sure that the trek was perfect for us. The trek is very nice. We saw a lot of beautiful mountains, waterfalls, trees... The length and difficulty of this trek were just right. I highly recommend this trek and if you are looking for an agency to book the trek, this is the right one. They made sure, we had one of the best experiences in Nepal.

Thailand, 16th April, 2016Wonderful experience of trekking
If you are looking for trekking agency, this is the one that I strongly recommend. Just tell them about the period and destination. Nabin, agency owner, he well organized trekking programme, prepared trekking permits, provided an experienced guide (Depak, more than 20 years experience) and nice porters, transportation during trekking and airport-hotel pick up, nice hotel in Kathmandu and Pokhara etc. The service and anything that he and his team did for us was very impressive since the first day we met till the last day we stayed in Nepal.

United Kingdom, 8th April, 2016Annapurna Base Camp Trek
We had a brilliant holiday walking to ABC with an excellent guide and porter. Every day the view of the Himalayas got a little bit better and we loved the variety of the ABC trek going through terraced villages, bamboo and rhododendron forests before getting up high into the snow-line. Nabin was very easy to communicate with when organising our trek from the UK and we would request our brilliant guide and porter again if we came back. We would highly recommend Himalayan Magic Treks to all our friends.

Germany, 13th February, 2023Annapurna Circuit and Annapurna Base camp
Himalayan Magic Treks made one of the greatest adventures in my life possible. I did a 22 day hike around Annapurna on the Annapurna Circuit and to it's basecamp. The region was unbelievable beautiful beyond any imaginations and all the people I met on the trek were friendly and helpful.
But what made my trek so uniqueful was my guide who was so friendly and kind ALL the time!! We shared so many good laughs and are linked together because of all the things we experienced.
The trek itself was demanding but with all the help provided by my guide and the company more than doable. They organized almost everything for me. The transport to the region, all the stays, my meals and even helped me by choosing souvenirs in the end.
I felt safe all the time even in the higher regions of the trek. The company and my guide informed me before and during the trek about any risks and how we could avoid them.
My guide even tought me some Nepali.
I can highly recommend the trek itself but most of all the company!
Thank you for everythin Nabin and Sitaram!!
