Equipment Checklist for trekking in Nepal
Trekking in Nepal is an incredible adventure, but being well-prepared is essential for your safety and comfort. Here's an equipment checklist to help you pack for your trek:
Clothing:
- Base Layers:
- Moisture-wicking thermal tops and bottoms for insulation and moisture control.
- Insulation:
- Fleece jacket or down jacket for warmth at higher altitudes.
- Outer Shell:
- Waterproof and windproof jacket and pants for protection against rain, snow, and wind.
- Trekking Pants:
- Lightweight, quick-drying, and durable pants (zip-off pants are versatile).
- Trekking Shirts:
- Long-sleeve and short-sleeve moisture-wicking shirts for layering.
- Headwear:
