Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu 1,310m. Welcome Program by Himalayan Magic Treks member and direct transfer to Hotel in Kathmandu with Bed & Breakfast plan.
Day 02: Drive to Darbang by local Bus 9-10 hours and overnight at Guest House
Day 03: Trek to Dharapani 1,565m 6/7 hours overnight at Guest House
Day 04: Trek to Muri 1,850m 6/7 hours overnight at Tent.
Day 05: Trek to Bogara 2,050m 5/6 hours overnight at Tent.
Day 06: Trek to Dhoban 2,630m this day the path is quite difficult and sometime you will need the help of the ropes 6 hours overnight at Tent.
Day 07: Trek to Sallaghari or Choriban Khola 3,110m 6 hour overnight at Tent.
Day 08: Trek to Italian Base camp 3,660m this day you will reach the Italian Base Camp where you will camp just in front of the West wall of the Dhaulagiri Passing through beautiful forest we rapidly gain altitude and mountains burst out all around. 4/5 hours overnight at Tent.
Day 09: Rest day for acclimatization Perhaps days walk to the Japanese camp for acclimatization since there is little exploring to be had this is a day to relax overnight at Tent.
Day 10: Trek to Glacier camp 4,250m after crossing the first glacier; probably using a rope in a couple of tricky spots, we climb onto the main glacier. The surroundings are spectacular which makes up for the rough and dangerous trail 6 hours overnight at Tent.
Day 11: Trek to Dhaulagiri Base camp 4,748m this day you will reach the Dhaulagiri Base Camp. Soon the rough rubble gives way to the smooth ice of the white part of the glacier. We climb steadily to the rough and chilling but spectacular Dhaulagiri Base Camp7/ 8 hours overnight at Tent.
Day 12: Trek over French pass Hidden Valley camp 5,100m Getting off the glacier above the base camp often requires a rope, but once over the steep moraine walls we are in safer. After a breathless climb to the top of French pass. 6/7 hours overnight at Tent.
Day 13: Trek to Yak kharka 2,900m 6/7 hours overnight at Tent
Day 14: Trek Down to Kalopani 4,930m 8/9 hours overnight at Lodge
Day 15: Trek to Tatopani 6/7 hours overnight at Lodge
Day 16: Drive back to Kathmandu Hotel Evening Dinner together with Typical Nepali culture
Day 17: Departure from Kathmandu to your onward destination

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,310m)
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, a representative from Himalayan Magic Treks will warmly welcome you at the airport. After a brief introduction and welcome program, you will be transferred directly to your hotel. Enjoy your first evening in Nepal’s vibrant capital with a comfortable overnight stay at Hotel

Day 02: Drive to Darbang by Local Bus (9–10 Hours)
After breakfast, begin a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Darbang by local bus. The journey passes through beautiful hills, rivers, terraced farmlands, and traditional villages, offering a glimpse into rural Nepalese life. Upon arrival in Darbang, settle into a local guest house and enjoy an overnight stay, preparing for the adventure ahead.

Day 03: Trek to Dharapani (1,565m) – 6/7 Hours
Today marks the beginning of your trekking adventure as you follow scenic trails through lush forests, terraced fields, and charming villages. Enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding hills and experience the local culture along the way. After 6–7 hours of trekking, arrive at Dharapani, where you will spend the night at a guest house surrounded by peaceful mountain scenery.

Day 04: Trek to Muri (1,850m) – 6/7 Hours
After breakfast, continue your trek through scenic hillsides, dense forests, and traditional villages. The trail offers impressive views of the surrounding mountains and an authentic glimpse into local rural life. After 6–7 hours of walking, reach the beautiful village of Muri, where you will enjoy an overnight stay in a tent amidst the peaceful Himalayan landscape.
Day 05: Trek to Bogara (2,050m) – 5/6 Hours
Today’s trek takes you through picturesque forests, narrow mountain trails, and remote settlements with stunning views of the surrounding valleys. As you gradually gain elevation, the landscape becomes more rugged and spectacular. After 5–6 hours of trekking, arrive at Bogara, a peaceful campsite nestled in the heart of nature, where you will spend the night in a tent.
Day 06: Trek to Dhoban (2,630m) – 6 Hours
Today’s trek is one of the more challenging sections of the journey, following rugged trails through steep and narrow terrain. In some places, fixed ropes may be used to assist with safe passage along difficult stretches. Surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery and dense forests, the adventure becomes even more exciting as you approach Dhoban. After approximately 6 hours of trekking, enjoy an overnight stay in a tent.
Day 07: Trek to Sallaghari / Choriban Khola (3,110m) – 6 Hours
Today’s trail gradually ascends through beautiful pine and rhododendron forests, offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. As you gain altitude, the landscape becomes increasingly wild and remote, adding to the sense of adventure. After approximately 6 hours of trekking, arrive at Sallaghari or Choriban Khola, where you will enjoy an overnight stay in a tent amidst the tranquil Himalayan wilderness.
Day 08: Trek to Italian Base Camp (3,660m) – 4/5 Hours
Today’s trek leads through beautiful alpine forests as you steadily gain altitude toward the spectacular Italian Base Camp. As the trees thin out, breathtaking mountain views emerge in every direction, creating an unforgettable Himalayan panorama. Upon arrival, set up camp directly beneath the magnificent west face of Dhaulagiri, surrounded by towering peaks and dramatic landscapes. Enjoy an overnight stay in a tent at this stunning mountain sanctuary.
Day 09: Acclimatization Day at Italian Base Camp
Today is reserved for acclimatization to help your body adjust to the higher altitude. You may take an optional hike to the nearby Japanese Camp for additional altitude gain and spectacular mountain views before returning to camp. With limited exploration in the area, the rest of the day can be spent relaxing, enjoying the breathtaking surroundings, and preparing for the higher elevations ahead. Overnight stay in a tent.
Day 10: Trek to Glacier Camp (4,250m) – 6 Hours
Today’s journey takes you across the first glacier, where you may need to use ropes in a few technical and tricky sections for safety. As you ascend onto the main glacier, the terrain becomes more rugged, but the breathtaking surroundings of towering peaks and icy landscapes make the effort worthwhile. After approximately 6 hours of trekking, arrive at Glacier Camp and spend the night in a tent surrounded by dramatic high-altitude scenery.
Day 11: Trek to Dhaulagiri Base Camp (4,748m) – 7/8 Hours
Today, you finally reach the spectacular Dhaulagiri Base Camp. The trail gradually transforms from rough rocky terrain to the smooth white ice of the glacier as you ascend higher into the alpine wilderness. Surrounded by towering peaks and an awe-inspiring icy landscape, the journey is both challenging and rewarding. After 7–8 hours of trekking, arrive at base camp and settle into your tent for an unforgettable night beneath the mighty Himalayas.

Day 12: Trek over French Pass to Hidden Valley Camp (5,100m) – 6/7 Hours
Today’s challenging ascent takes you over the legendary French Pass, one of the highest points of the trek. The route begins with a steep climb and may require rope assistance while exiting the glacier area above base camp. Once over the moraine walls, the trail becomes more stable as you push toward the top of the pass, rewarded with breathtaking Himalayan views. After a demanding 6–7 hours, descend into the serene Hidden Valley and settle into camp for an overnight stay in a tent.

Day 13: Trek to Yak Kharka (2,900m) – 6/7 Hours
Today’s trek descends gradually from the high alpine region into more open valleys and grazing lands. The trail offers a refreshing change of scenery, with wide landscapes, rivers, and occasional views of distant peaks. After 6–7 hours of walking, you will reach Yak Kharka, a peaceful spot often used by herders. Enjoy a comfortable night in a tent, surrounded by calm mountain surroundings.

Day 14: Trek Down to Kalopani (4,930m) – 8/9 Hours
Today’s long descent takes you from the high alpine region down through changing landscapes, gradually leaving the rugged mountain terrain behind. The trail offers sweeping views of valleys, rivers, and distant peaks as you make your way toward lower elevations. After 8–9 hours of trekking, arrive at Kalopani, where you will relax and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at a lodge.

Day 15: Trek to Tatopani – 6/7 Hours
Today’s trek continues through beautiful river valleys, terraced fields, and charming villages as you descend toward lower elevations. The trail is rich in natural beauty and offers a more relaxed walking experience after the high mountains. After approximately 6–7 hours of trekking, you arrive at Tatopani, famous for its natural hot springs. Enjoy a well-deserved rest and an overnight stay at a comfortable lodge.
Day 16: Drive Back to Kathmandu
After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu, enjoying the scenic journey through hills, rivers, and rural landscapes. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and take some time to relax and refresh after the trek. In the evening, celebrate your successful adventure with a special farewell dinner, accompanied by a traditional Nepali cultural program.
Day 17: Departure from Kathmandu
