The Everest View Trek is a shorter, easier trek compared to the full Everest Base Camp Trek but still offers breathtaking views of Mount Everest and the surrounding peaks. This trek is ideal for those who want to experience the beauty of the Everest region without the strenuous effort and high-altitude challenges of a longer trek.

Starting Point: Lukla (via a flight from Kathmandu)
Ending Point: Lukla (return flight to Kathmandu)

Itinerary for the Everest View Trek

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu 
Day 2: Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,860m), Trek to Phakding (2,610m) overnight at Tribeni Lodge
Day 3: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)
Day 4: Rest and Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar
Day 5: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Khumjung (3,790m) and to Everest View Hotel
Day 6: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla
Day 7: Fly back from Lukla to Kathmandu (30–40 minutes). Free time in Kathmandu for sightseeing, shopping, or relaxation.
Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 8: Departure

Everest View Cost Estimate

The Everest View Trek is more affordable than the full Everest Base Camp Trek, but costs can still vary depending on your choice of services.

Budget Option:
Total cost: $900 to $1,200 USD
Includes basic Food and accommodations, local guide, and porter.
Permits (TIMS, Sagarmatha National Park Entry Permit) are extra.
Standard Option:
Total cost: $1,200 to $1,800 USD
Includes better Food and  accommodation, guide, and porter, as well as meals along the trek.
Flights to and from Lukla.
Luxury Option:
Total cost: $1,800 to $2,500+ USD
Luxury accommodations and Food such as Yeti Mountain Home and other high-end tea houses.
Personal guide and porter.
Difficulty Level
Altitude: The highest point on the Everest View Trek is Everest View Hotel at 3,880 meters. This is lower than the Everest Base Camp trek, so altitude sickness is less of a concern. However, there is still a risk of mild symptoms, so it’s important to pace yourself and stay hydrated.
Terrain: The trek involves moderate ascents and descents on well-defined trails. Some sections are steep, but the overall terrain is manageable for most trekkers.
Physical Fitness: The trek is suitable for trekkers with moderate fitness levels, as the duration of the trek and the altitude are lower compared to other Everest region treks.
Best Time to Trek
Pre-monsoon season (March to May): This is the best time for clear skies and pleasant weather.
