2. Makalu Sherpani Col Short Itinerary

Day 1-2: Kathmandu to Tumlingtar
Fly from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar (1 hour). Drive to the trek start point.
Begin the trek through lush forests and local villages.
Day 3-6: Tumlingtar to Chichila / Num, Gradual ascent through rhododendron forests, rice terraces, and small villages.
Day 7-10: Num to Makalu Base Camp. Cross ridges and valleys, slowly ascending to higher altitudes. Pass through the village of Seduwa and reach the base camp.
Day 11-14: Acclimatization and Exploration Spend a few days acclimatizing at Makalu Base Camp while exploring the area and getting used to the high altitude.
Day 15-17: Cross Sherpani Col, This is the most challenging part of the trek, involving crossing the Sherpani Col Pass (6,000m). Prepare for strenuous climbing and high-altitude conditions. You may need crampons, ice axes, and ropes for this part.
Day 18-21: Continue Trekking and Descend, after crossing the pass, descend toward the Barun Glacier, and follow the trail down through beautiful valleys and rivers.
Day 22-24: Return to Lukla and Kathmandu, Complete the trek
