Chulu East Peak (6,584 m) climbing is one of the most admired and highest trekking peak in Annapurna region of Nepal. Chulu East peak rises above the Manang valley in the rain shadow side of the Manang Himal range. Chulu East was first ascended by a German expedition in 1955 A.D, via its northeast ridge. These two Peaks of Chulu namely Chulu East Peak Climbing and Chulu West Peak Climbing both are form a part of Manang district which is an integral part of the Damodar Himal. Though Chulu East peak climbing is technically straight forward to the summit you should be well trained also technical knowledge of ICE and Rock climbing on top of about how to use your climbing tools to be good shape. We begin our Chulu East peak climbing trip drive from Kathmandu as we head towards to the Besisahar by Land Transportation bus, Car or Jeep as per our clients preferences. Drive from Besisahar to Dharapani or Chame the headquarter of Manang. We start trek through the classical Annapurna circuit trekking route along the Marsyangdi river valley and from there passing through the diverse landscape, forests and culturally rich villages. Our trekking trail climbs up through the rugged topography ups and down the hills and dales acclimatizing properly to reach the Pisang valley 3,200 meter. Since the trekking trail takes us very close to the Tibetan bordering Manang valley one can explore and experience the Tibetan monasteries their typical culture and traditions. From the valley we gradually ascend up to Letdar and move on until we reach the Base Camp 4950 m. We take a day rest in this camp for acclimatize our self and exploring the vicinity. From this Base camp we now ascend up to High Camp 5,600 meter. From High Camp we head towards to the summit of Chulu East. We could have an excellent views across to the Annapurna II, III and IV, Gangapurna, Glacier Dome, Mount Dhaulagiri, Tilicho peak many more. We descend the peak via same route. After Climbing the Chulu East Peak we will continue cross the pass Thorung La pass 5,416 meters and trek back through Kali Gandaki valley to Jomsom, natural hot spring (Tatopani). Start Drive from Muktinath, Tatopani, Beni again drive to Kathmandu, we finally return back to Kathmandu after refreshment and go to Farewell Dinner together.
