The Tibet Saga Dawa Festival Tour is a deeply spiritual journey, celebrating one of the most important events in the Buddhist calendar. Held annually on the full moon of the fourth lunar month, this festival marks three significant moments in Buddha's life: his birth, enlightenment, and parinirvana (death).
In 2025, the Saga Dawa Festival falls during the sacred month, believed to amplify the power of good deeds and prayers a thousandfold. Pilgrims from across Tibet gather to raise prayer flags and participate in the sacred ritual of erecting the giant flagpole at Mount Kailash. Though public celebrations may be understated, the festival's vibrant and spiritual atmosphere is palpable throughout Tibet.
