Nar Phu Valley lies north of Manang district. The inhabitants here are highly influenced by the Tibetan culture and style. The trek to Nar and Phu valley consist of high peaks and passes, remote villages, narrow canyons, lovely forests, amazing rock formations, yaks, Gompas and unique Himalayan cultures to reach Nar Phu Gaun we trek through Annapurna Circuit, to the bridge leading over the Marsyangdi River. Every year many Buddhist visit the holy Tashi Lha Khang monastery to receive the blessing from Lama Karma Sonam Rinpochhe.
Nar Phu Trek is about 20 - 23 days long trek. Firstly you arrive at Kathmandu Valley, the next you have the major sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley and then you drive to Besisahar through Prithvi Highway and from there we take a jeep to Syanga. Then from Syanga we trek to Jagat where we have a stay overnight. The next day to Dharepani 1,960 m passing through the bank of Marsyangdi river crossing pine forests to enter the Manang district. From there we trek to Koto 2,670 m along the mule track crossing the fir forest. From there we could have the spectacular view of the mountains range. From Koto the Nar phu valley starts. We trek through dense forest crossing the Narphu valley to reach Dharmasala 3,300 m. We can see mall shelters (caves and a pilgrims “Dharmasala” here. The next day we trek around the white rocks, to reach Kayang 3560 m. We stay there overnight. And the next day we climb steeply down towards to enter the Phu village 4,200 m.
On the way we can have the best view of Chortens wit the canyon lands and gorges. We have a day rest here at the Phu village. Here we explore around the village to have the interaction with the local people. The next day we trek back to Phu gate, Chyarkha and Jhunam to finally reach to Nar village 4,150 m. You could experience the breath taking scenery during this trek. The next day we move on to Kangla Phedi 4,500m. We can have the exotic view of the Pisang peak. Net day we trek through Kangla pass to Ngwal village 3,675 m. You can have the magnificent view of Pisang peak, Annapurna II, Gangapurna, Tilicho peak, alongside. From there we trek towards the Manang then to Ledtar 4,250m. From here we climb along the Jorsang Khola to reach Phedi.
There we travel again through ascend and descend to reach Muktinath. It is one of the important Hindu pilgrimages. We stay an overnight here in Muktinath. The next day we trek through Kagbeni to reach Jomsom. Here we can visit red walled Kagchode Thubten Sampheling Gompa which was founded in 1,429. We stay overnight here at Jomsom and the very next day we take a flight to Pokhara. In this way the Nar and Phu trek comes to an end with the lifetime and long experience of the trekking.

To pass through challenging routes and to ensure your safety and comfort, we need adequate number of staffs. It includes guide, porter, driver, assistant guide and so on. We provide guide in every trip while one assistant guide to every 4-9 group of guests and two with every 10 crew. As for the porters, we send 1 porter for every 2 guest. The number of porter also varies to the load of the clients; a porter’s maximum load is 25 kg. Autumn (September - November) and spring (March - May) is the best season for trekking and mountaineering in Nepal. Weather is mostly clear and temperature is moderate in these seasons which offer beautiful views without any obstruction. Spring grants you beautiful flowers, plants and rare animals. Walking is favorable during these seasons.
Summer (June - August) and winter (December - February).
Though summer has heavy monsoon rainfall, it is very much clearer to trek around Upper Mustang Trek, Upper Dolpo Trek and Nar Phu Valley Trek since they are rain shadow areas. Everest Base Camp Trek , Langtang Valley Trek , Annapurna Base Camp Trek, Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek, Kanchenjunga Trek, Rara Lake Trek as well as Nepal Tour Packages are always better to trek in winter season.
Trekking can be challenging and exhausting. So you might need some fitness training and experience for some tough trial. Nepal Trekking in Everest Base Camp does not require past experience or extreme fitness even though we have more challenging routes in different region compared to that of Everest. Trekking in Himalayas always takes us to challenging altitudes and rocky routes. You could ask for proper rest time and acclimatization to sustain your strength. Mountains can never be achieved in a day. We always provide the detail in our itinerary. However certain training like running, skipping and other workouts will definitely be beneficial in such challenging routes.
Altitude sickness is a major risk when trekking. You might experience it on any trails above 2,500 m however; good health, proper care and drinking plenty of water will definitely help you to prevent from altitude sickness. Every trekkers needs to be familiar with the heights and altitude so, for this we have life saving appropriate acclimatization days during the trek, We also provide certain medical support for your relief and emergency rescue through helicopter whenever the situation gets worse.
