Day 01: Arrival in Lhasa, Upon your arrival at Lhasa airport of train station, our Tibetan Guide will greets you and take you on a private jeep or van to the beautiful city of Lhasa. Check into hotel and it is highly advisable to acclimatize for rest of the day due to Lhasa's altitude. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Lhasa, visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple & Bharkhor Market, After breakfast, we start our day with the grand visit to Potala Palace which dictates the city of Lhasa. It is a massive palace that contains private quarters of the Dalai Lama as well as numerous grand state rooms and many important chapels. The historic Palace existed here since the 5th or 6th century, but the present Palace was constructed in the 17th century in replacement of the old one. After visiting the Potala Palace, in the afternoon we will visit Jokhang Temple and Bharkhor market. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Sightseeing in Lhasa, visit Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery, After breakfast, we start another exciting day of our tour exploring the world famous monasteries. First, we will pay a visit to Sera Monastery which is the best-preserved monasteries in Tibet. Within its whitewashed walls and golden roofs, several hundred monks live and study here. After lunch, we will visit Drepung Monastery which was once home for over 10,000 monks. Drepung Monastery is still a beautiful sight to visit. Incredibly it was one of the few sights to escape the Cultural Revolution without widespread damage. By the late afternoon we will also visit Norbulingka palace, the summer palace of the Dalai Lama. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: final Departure from Lhasa. After breakfast, our guide and driver will transfer you to the airport or train station for your onward journey.
