Langtang Ganja-La pass Trek is the adventure challenging and unique wilderness trekking trip in Langtang region. Lantang Ganja-La pass trekking takes you all the way through the lush valleys, evergreen forests, water falls and bright green hills with panoramic views mountains on its backdrop. This trekking trail also takes you through the beautiful Langtang and Helambu valley. These places are mostly inhibited by Tamangs and Helamo ethnic group. Here you get to know their culture, tradition, unique dressing style, ancient trading style and the hardship of rural life.
Lantang Ganja-La pass Trek begins from Syabru Bensi, which is northwest from Kathmandu 120km drive from Kathmandu. Syabru Bensi the trekking trail follows through alpine forests, rich flora and fauna and high altitude Step up and Down a little Plateau up to the Langtang valley. Langtang village is the biggest Tamangs settlement rich in Tibetan culture and picturesque scenery of mountain and glaciers. The fine-looking valley the trail ascends up Kyangjing Gompa 3,800m, widely known for the yak cheese in Kyangjing Gompa. We spend a day acclimatizing our self and exploring the vistas in the periphery from Kyangjing. We come across the Ganja-La pass. This pass to the north, offers panoramic view of Langtang Lirung and the snow peaks in Tibet side including Shisha Pangma at 8,013m.On a clear day you can also view other Magnificent hills and mountains to the south and towards west of the pass Naya Kanga 5,846m, previously named Ganja-La Chuli. The pass the trail descends through steep and dangerous loose screen slope for about 200m before emerging onto a snow slope. Somehow, the descent from Ganja La pass, like most mountain descents, seems more treacherous than the ascent. Which direction one uses to cross the pass Ganja-La, The trekking trail descends through the basin along a distinct path, marked seldom by rock Cairns towards a small stream at 4,400m as we move further pass through a waterfall towards a beautiful Helambu Valley. From here we make our way through one of several substitute trails through villages,Tarkey Gaun, Serema-thang,Kakani towards the road head at Melamchipul bazaar than we take private vehicle to Kathmandu. The adventure trip to Ganja-la is ending to departure transport to airport for your homeland.

Our commitment to customer satisfaction takes precedence in providing superior accommodations. We offer a range from star hotels in Kathmandu to mountain guesthouses during the trek, tailored to your needs. The guesthouses ensure a peaceful environment and serve hygienic food, enhancing the overall healthiness of your journey. The Everest region, in particular, boasts exceptional accommodation facilities compared to the past.

Kathmandu valley offers a culinary paradise with diverse cuisine. During the lodge trek, relish a variety of Continental, Indian, and Nepali dishes, including pasta, pizza, momo, soup, dal bhat, and hot beverages like tea and coffee. Our experienced Guides (Leaders) will manage and recommend food choices to ensure guest satisfaction.

Trekking Team:

Hailing from the Himalayas, we comprehend the challenges posed by steep hills, treacherous weather, and health concerns. Himalayan Magic Treks has been providing seasoned local leaders and staff with years of expertise, ensuring a memorable trip. Our guides are certified by the Government of Nepal, equipped with emergency training and evacuation education in the Himalayas, and proficient in multiple languages.

Field Staff Rules:

Ensuring safety and comfort demands an adequate number of staff, including guides, porters, drivers, and assistant guides. Our ratio includes one guide for every trip, one assistant guide for every 4-9 guests, and two for every 10 guests. Porters, with a maximum load of 25 kg, are assigned at a ratio of one porter for every two guests. Our professional staff speaks languages such as English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.

Trekking Equipment:

Proper equipment enhances comfort during the trek. We emphasize the importance of a thorough equipment checklist before embarking on the journey. Check the link here for the recommended equipment list.

Safety & Security:

Your security is paramount from the moment of arrival to the final departure. Our staff will pick you up at the airport, assist you to the hotel, and provide remedial services during the trek, including first aid. We offer an oxygen bag and helicopter services for emergency rescue. Acclimatization days are incorporated to address altitude sickness concerns.

Best Season to Trek in Nepal:

The optimal trekking seasons are Autumn (September - November) and Spring (March - May). These months offer clear weather, moderate temperatures, and breathtaking views. Spring introduces beautiful flowers, plants, and rare wildlife. Certain treks, such as Everest Base Camp Trek, Langtang Valley Trek, and Annapurna Base Camp Trek, are suitable even in the winter season.

Experience & Fitness:

While Everest Base Camp Trek does not demand extreme fitness or past experience, certain routes may present challenges. Trekking in the Himalayas requires proper rest, acclimatization, and a reasonable level of fitness. Training activities like running and skipping can be beneficial for tackling challenging routes.

Altitude sickness is a concern above 2,500 m. Good health, adequate care, and hydration can help prevent altitude sickness. Our itineraries include life-saving acclimatization days, and we provide medical support and emergency helicopter rescue when necessary.

Our commitment to the Himalayas is to leave behind memories and only footprints. Himalayan Magic Treks actively addresses environmental pollution and global warming. We meticulously manage garbage during camping, collecting and disposing of it responsibly. We actively participate in environmental conservation programs like KEEP (Kathmandu Environmental Education Project).

Tailor-Made Itinerary:

Trekking in the Himalayan region may encounter unexpected complications like natural calamities and health challenges, potentially leading to changes in the itinerary. We seek your cooperation with the guide and the team during such situations for a smooth and secure journey.

Excellent Trek
