Here you get to know their culture, tradition, unique dressing style, ancient trading style and the hardship of rural life.
Lantang Ganja-La pass Trek begins from Syabru Bensi, which is northwest from Kathmandu 120km drive from Kathmandu. Syabru Bensi the trekking trail follows through alpine forests, rich flora and fauna and high altitude Step up and Down a little Plateau up to the Langtang valley. Langtang village is the biggest Tamangs settlement rich in Tibetan culture and picturesque scenery of mountain and glaciers. The fine-looking valley the trail ascends up Kyangjing Gompa 3,800m, widely known for the yak cheese in Kyangjing Gompa. We spend a day acclimatizing our self and exploring the vistas in the periphery from Kyangjing. We come across the Ganja-La pass. This pass to the north, offers panoramic view of Langtang Lirung and the snow peaks in Tibet side including Shisha Pangma at 8,013m.On a clear day you can also view other Magnificent hills and mountains to the south and towards west of the pass Naya Kanga 5,846m, previously named Ganja-La Chuli. The pass the trail descends through steep and dangerous loose screen slope for about 200m before emerging onto a snow slope. Somehow, the descent from Ganja La pass, like most mountain descents, seems more treacherous than the ascent. Which direction one uses to cross the pass Ganja-La, The trekking trail descends through the basin along a distinct path, marked seldom by rock Cairns towards a small stream at 4,400m as we move further pass through a waterfall towards a beautiful Helambu Valley. From here we make our way through one of several substitute trails through villages,Tarkey Gaun, Serema-thang,Kakani towards the road head at Melamchipul bazaar than we take private vehicle to Kathmandu.
