Itinerary for Langtang Valley Trek

Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,460 m)
•    Duration: 6-8 hours by Bus or Reserve jeep as a supplement 
•    Syabrubesi is the gateway to Langtang Valley, located in the Rasuwa District. You'll drive through scenic views of hills, rivers, and villages.
Day 2: Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,480 m)
•    Duration: 6-7 hours
•    The trail passes through beautiful forests of oak, rhododendron, and bamboo. You'll encounter some wildlife, such as red pandas and monkeys.
Day 3: Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3,430 m)
•    Duration: 6-7 hours
•    Ascend gradually through the forest and begin to see the majestic views of the Langtang range. Langtang Village was affected by the earthquake in 2015, but the area has recovered well.
Day 4: Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870 m)
•    Duration: 4-5 hours
•    You'll pass through Yak pastures and cross several streams. Upon reaching Kyanjin Gompa, you’ll have panoramic views of Langtang Lirung (7,227 m), Ganchenpo, and other peaks.
Day 5: Explore Kyanjin Ri or Tserko Ri for panoramic views
•    Duration: 3-4 hours (for hiking)
•    For those acclimatizing, a hike to Kyanjin Ri (4,773 m) or Tserko Ri (5,000 m) offers incredible views of the Langtang and Ganesh Himal ranges.
Day 6: Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel
•    Duration: 6-7 hours
•    After the exploration, you’ll trek back, retracing your steps through Langtang village to Lama Hotel.
Day 7: Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi
•    Duration: 5-6 hours
•    The final descent back to Syabrubesi completes your trek.
Day 8: Drive from Syabrubesi back to Kathmandu
•    Duration: 6-8 hours
