Trishuli River Rafting is the one of the most popular rafting destination because of its majestic gorges, stirring rapids, some easier section and easy accessibility from Kathmandu and Pokhara. Having an easy access of the Prithivi Highway makes “Breaking Off” the journey trouble –free. Royal Chitwan National Park can be easily reachable.

The Trisuli is named after the Trushula or trident of Shiva, most powerful God’s of Hindu religion, there is a legend that say that high in the Himalayas at Gosaikunda, Shiva drove his trident into the found to create thee springs such as the source of the river that named as Trisuli. According to Tibetan name, the suffix Tsangpo indicates a river flowing from or along Tsang i.e. Tibet west of Lhasa. Most of the western parts of Tsang region are customarily known as Lato, the highland region of Tibet and its North Lato consist of the upper extent of the Yarlung Tsangpo and Raga Tsangp likewise South Lato consist of the upper extent of Bum-Chu, Matsang Tsangpo and Kyirong Tsangpo.

The Kyirong gorge and valley form one of the most panoramic views of the Tibet alpine regions. Capital of Kyriong is Dzongka that overlooks the confluence of the Kyirong Tsangpo and its main tributary, the Zarongchu.  This trail flows along Nepal and that joins in Devighat at Narayani River which is flows at lower stage towards India and joins the Ganges as well.

Day 3 : Drive 3-4 hrs to the raft put-in point at Charaundi.

Drive 3-4 hrs to the raft put-in point at Charaundi. Under the guidance of a river guide, you venture into a river trip up to Kurintar for about 4 hrs with a short lunch break. Eventually, you camp near the river bank at a superb location.

Day 4 : Resume your rafting trip along Trishuli River till you arrive at Simalar

On this day, you resume your rafting trip along Trishuli River till you arrive at Simalar. After reaching Simalar, you conclude your river trip and make camping arrangement for overnight stay.

Day 5 : Return to Kathmandu, Royal Chitwan National park or Pokhara.
