Short Mera Peak Climbing is a thrilling Himalayan adventure that takes you to the summit of Nepal’s highest trekking peak at 6,476 meters (21,247 ft). Located in the remote Hinku Valley of the Everest region, Mera Peak offers breathtaking views of five of the world's highest mountains Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and Kanchenjunga. The climb is non-technical but physically demanding, making it ideal for fit trekkers with basic mountaineering skills. It's a perfect introduction to high-altitude climbing in Nepal.
Meet your climbing Guide at Khare for the Mera Peak climbing so we will prepare the climbing permit for you to allow the Mera Peak climbing directly if you want to join only climbing part also possible in this case you have to book previously to apply Nepal Mountaineering Association to issue the climbing permit by our register company.
Day 01: Khare to Mera High Camp (5,800m)
Begin your climb from Khare (4,950m), ascending a steep glacier trail towards Mera La Pass and onwards to Mera High Camp. The trek offers stunning views of Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu. Camp overnight at High Camp to acclimatize and prepare for the summit.
Day 2: Summit Mera Peak (6,476m) and Return to Khare
Start early (around 2–3 AM) for the summit push. The route involves glacier travel and gradual ascent using crampons, ropes, and ice axe. Reach the summit to enjoy panoramic Himalayan views. After a short rest, descend carefully back to Khare. This is a long and physically demanding day.
Day 3: Contingency/Rest Day in Khare
A buffer day for weather delays or rest after the summit. If everything goes as planned, this day can be used to relax in Khare or descend further.
