Rupina La pass Trek 5,200 meters is challenging, daredevil, difficult trekking route that located in the Lower Manaslu region of the Gorkha district. This route was officially opened for tourist since 1,991 AD. Following though this trail gives us chance to observe the geographically panoramic view and unbeaten trail of the Manaslu. This trekking trail takes us to the round trip of the mountain ranges of Manaslu Peak7,871 meters, Himal Chulu 7,893 m and Boudha 6,672 m. The trail include many villages, these are inhabited by Gurungs and provides us to explore the remarkable culture, their tradition and their life style. Rupina la trek is enrich in its green rhododendron, pine forest, uncommonly change geographical terrain and give us a spectacular view of the Himalayan scenery, rivers, waterfalls, beautiful landscape, lush valleys and wide range of animals and birds.
Rupina La-Pass Trekking begin from the Darundikhola passes the Rupina-La passes and Larkye-Pass 5,250 m then descend along the Marshyangdi River, down to Besisahar then we ends at Gorkha. Rupina La pass trek ramble around the area of Manaslu conservation that is a restricted area. To enter this trekking trail needs certain permission and formalities are to be required which is provided by the Government of Nepal.
We commence Rupina La Pass trek from Arughat Bazaar which is an old market near to the bank of the Budhi Gandaki River. Following through our trekking trail, we make series of ascend and descend from gentle hill along the bank of Gandaki River to SotiKhola. Heading from Sotikhola we move along the bank of river pass, various villages, green hills to Machhakhola, most of the path to Machhakhola conclude almost flat leveled terrain. Then we travel along the Gomna, via Jagat to Surtibas which is an easy but the trail becomes pretty rough and difficult to travel upward. This travail offers us splendid view of various green hills as well as mountains like Shringihimal and Ganesh Himal from Gomna. We slowly and regularly make our way to Rupina La Phedi 4,643 m along the route of Jarang Path laying at the wilderness of thick pine forest. This forest is the home of various kinds of animals like black bear, snow leopard, grey wolf and many other birds. This trekking trail further head to Rupinala pass 4,720 m along ascend from la phedi to Bhedi Odar 5,150 m. We make a difficult climb up the seep and rocky hill to Bhedikhara 5,225 m to the Dudh Pokhari 5,390 m
Rupina-La Trekking Dudha Pokhari (Milk Pound) is a pilgrimage site which is momentous among the Buddhist and Hindus. This place is the best trip to view various Mountains in Manaslu range; we can have extraordinary view of various named and unnamed mountain as far as to the Annapurna region from Dudh Pokhari. Finally, we begin descending along the steep hills and moves towards Ningalaghari 4,590 m Chyadi dada 3,600 m, enjoying the tranquil path of the forest and green hills. After, arriving at the village of Tonje where, we could be able to enjoy various traditional, culture programs of the local inhabitants. Then we slowly move ahead to the end of our trek. Our wonderful trekking trail of Rubin-la pass ends, when we arrive at Besisahar along the path of Duwar.

Drive to Barpak 1750 m 6 hours walk. This day several river we have to pass and up and down way through the forest, we pass the Kayaure gurung village, several up and down and forest, village and forest walk. Barpak is settlement of more than 60 houses with majority of Gurung and Chettri Brahamman and many people’s from this village are in British Gorkha and Indian Gorkha army.

Barpak to Dhansirakharka 2,000 m, 5 hours walk. This day in the beginning the way is flat /straight and descent down 30 minutes to Dorondi Khola after crossing the suspension bridge the way starts to climb for the Dhansirakharka camp side. Dhansirakharka is only Kharka there; there is few shelters settlement there because the villagers from Barpak bring their cattle’s there in the summer
Dhansirakharka to Bhaisekharka 3,950 m, 6 hours walk.This day all uphill along the Dorondi Khola and Juniper and pine trees forest
Bhaisekharka to Rupinala glacier 4,000 m 8 hours walk.This day gradually up about 4 hours and pass Rupina la pass 4,643 m and downhill to the glacier camp. This day is very hard day for this trekking
Glacier camp to Chuling Khola Kharka 3,950 m 5 hours walks on the glacier. Around Chuling khola this place is one of the best valley in Nepal for the view and so quite place, we feel like hidden valley even though different landscape and mountains
Chulingkhola Kharka to Ngyak Bensi 2,000 m 6 hours walk down hill

Leading around the steeply hills and rocky routes is not a job of common climbers and trekkers. Himalayan Magic Treks have been providing native leaders and staffs working in this field perfectly since many years to overcome tough challenges and make your trip a golden memory. Our Guides are trained and well certified by the Government of Nepal. Our staffs have received proper emergency guidance and evacuation education in the Himalayas. They are also entirely aware of correct knowledge of first aid to the victims. To pass through challenging routes and to ensure your safety and comfort, we need adequate number of staffs. It includes guide, porter, driver, assistant guide and so on. We provide guide in every trip while one assistant guide to every 4-9 group of guests and two with every 10 crew. As for the porters, we send 1 porter for every 2 guest. The number of porter also varies to the load of the clients; a porter’s maximum load is 25 kg. Our staffs are professional and expert guides (leader) who can speak languages like English, French, Germany, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and other as required. Autumn (September - November) and spring (March - May) is the best season for trekking and mountaineering in Nepal. Weather is mostly clear and temperature is moderate in these seasons which offer beautiful views without any obstruction. Spring grants you beautiful flowers, plants and rare animals. Walking is favorable during these seasons.
Summer (June - August) and winter (December - February).
Though summer has heavy monsoon rainfall, it is very much clearer to trek around Upper Mustang Trek, Upper Dolpo Trek and Nar Phu Valley Trek since they are rain shadow areas. Everest Base Camp Trek, Langtang Gosaikunda Trek, Annapurna Base camp Trek as well as Nepal Tour Packages are always better to trek in winter season.
Trekking can be challenging and exhausting. So you might need some fitness training and experience for some tough trial. Nepal Trekking in Everest Base Camp does not require past experience or extreme fitness even though we have more challenging routes in different region compared to that of Everest. Trekking in Himalayas always takes us to challenging altitudes and rocky routes. You could ask for proper rest time and acclimatization to sustain your strength. Mountains can never be achieved in a day. We always provide the detail in our itinerary. However certain training like running, skipping and other workouts will definitely be beneficial in such challenging routes.
Altitude sickness is a major risk when trekking. You might experience it on any trails above 2,500 m however good health, proper care and drinking plenty of water will definitely help you to prevent from altitude sickness. Every trekkers needs to be familiar with the heights and altitude so, for this we have life saving appropriate acclimatization days during the trek, We also provide certain medical support for your relief and emergency rescue through helicopter whenever the situation gets worse.
