Paldor Peak 5,896 m is situated at the south-east end of the Ganesh Himal range, in the Langtang region of Rasuwa district. Along the way to Tiru and Karpu Danda (ridges) at the cranium of the Mailung Khola the arm of the Trisuli River. The main trail across the glacier is fissures that takes some unearthing. While being the top of there we only have to options either climb the simple ridge with the help of ropes or follow continuously to fissure back for a simpler 45 degree, ridge. During summit we can have sterling views of the diver’s peaks Manaslu 8,156 m, Ganesh Himal and Langtang Lirung 7,227 m, as well as the mountains of Tibet including Shishapangma 8,013 m
The fastest path towards Mt. Paldor and Mt. Ganesh Himal is from Sabrubensi in the Trusuli valley near to Dunche. It could take around 6 to 7 hours drive from Kathmandu. From here the trail passes the Langtang Khola to Sabrubesi. After passing through the Bhote Kosi River the trail leads through Tamang village of Tangjet and Gatlang and heads towards the northwards ridge before tumbling into the forest over Mailung Khola. We will take up the new road which was recently built and it will lead towards the army post. The rim filled valley below Paldor Peak Climbing is arrived another day walk before climbing

Note: As per the decision of secretary level dated 2071/1/16, the insurance amount for sardar,mountain guide and high altitude walker fund is fixed as Rs 15 lakhs. Similarly, medical insurance is fixed as Rs 4 lakhs. Mountain Heli-rescue of 10000USD is also required. Garbage deposit to acquire climbing permit will be same i.e. USD 500.
