It is a perfect adventure for those who love nature and want to experience the beauty of the Himalayas.
The journey starting from Paro, the trek leads you through charming Bhutanese villages, giving you a glimpse of the traditional lifestyle of the local people. As you ascend, you'll walk through dense forests of pine, oak, and rhododendron, home to a variety of wildlife including the elusive snow leopard, blue sheep, and diverse bird species.
One of the highlights of the Jomolhari Trek is reaching the base camp at Jangothang, located at 4,080 meters, where you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of Mount Jomolhari. The scenery here is awe-inspiring, with the majestic snow-capped peak towering over you, surrounded by pristine valleys and crystal-clear streams.
