Pumori 7,161 m or Pumo-Ri is a mountain that lies on the border between Nepal-Tibet in the Mahalangur part of the Himalayan. Pumori is situated just 8 km West part of the Mt. Everest. Pumori means “Unmarried Daughter” according to the Sherpa language which was named by George Mallory and climbers refers Pumori as an “Everest Daughter”. Pumori is well-Known climbing peak because of having easiest route that graded class 3, even though its significant avalanche danger. It was first ascended by Gerhard Lenser of a German-Swiss expedition in 1962. Whereas Czechs (Leopold Sulovsky and Michalec Zeduak) ascended through the new route by the South face in the spring of 1996 (Joe Simpson, 1997, Dark Shadows falling).

Pumori Summit needs a good understanding of mountaineering techniques and friendliness with the effect of high altitude. We will take the classic route through the Southeast ridge; mainly three camps are set up above the base camp. Base Camp will be set up at 5,300 m ascend along the glaciers for approximately 4 hours and reach Camp (1) (5,700 m). From Camp (1), we climb the face with 40-60 degrees slope and pass along a snow wall to reach camp (2) 6,200 m. From Camp 2, climb through ice walls and crevasses to reach Camp (3) (6,480 m).

Upon your arrival at the airport our representatives person with a Himalayan Magic Treks (LOGO) sign board, to show you on your arrival exit gate. Leading around the steeply hills and rocky routes is not a job of common climbers and trekkers. Himalayan Magic Treks have been providing native leaders and staffs working in this field perfectly since many years to overcome tough challenges and make your trip a golden memory. Our Guides are trained and well certified by the Government of Nepal. Our staffs have received proper emergency guidance and evacuation education in the Himalayas. They are also entirely aware of correct knowledge of first aid to the victims. We have never and will never compromise on the safety to our clients; therefore, we provide insurance and medical services during the trek and compensation when they needs.
To pass through challenging routes and to ensure your safety and comfort, we need adequate number of staffs. It includes guide, porter, driver, assistant guide and so on. We provide guide in every trip while one assistant guide to every 4-9 group of guests and two with every 10 crew. As for the porters, we send 1 porter for every 2 guest. The number of porter also varies to the load of the clients; a porter’s maximum load is 25kg. Our staffs are professional and expert guides (leader) who can speak languages like English, French, Germany, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and other as required. Security is our primary concern from your first day you will be under our service and protection. Our staff will pick you up at the airport and will assist you to your hotel. We have proper remedial services during the trek with professional staffs and services like first aid, and we will help to arrange oxygen bag and helicopter service for emergency rescue. Autumn (September - November) and spring (March - May) is the best season for trekking and mountaineering in Nepal. Weather is mostly clear and temperature is moderate in these seasons which offer beautiful views without any obstruction. Spring grants you beautiful flowers, plants and rare animals. Walking is favorable during these seasons. Summer (June - August) and winter (December - February). Though summer has heavy monsoon rainfall, it is very much clearer to trek around Upper Mustang Trek, Upper Dolpo Trek and Nar- Phu valley Trek since they are rain shadow areas. Everest Base Camp Trek, Langtang Gosaikunda Trek, Annapurna Base Camp Trek as well as Tibet Kailash Tour are always better to trek in winter season.
Trekking can be challenging and exhausting. So you might need some fitness training and experience for some tough trial. Trekking in Everest Base Camp does not require past experience or extreme fitness even though we have more challenging routes in different region compared to that of Everest. Trekking in Himalayas always takes us to challenging altitudes and rocky routes. You could ask for proper rest time and acclimatization to sustain your strength. Altitude sickness is a major risk when trekking. You might experience it on any trails above 2,500 m however; good health, proper care and drinking plenty of water will definitely help you to prevent from altitude sickness. Every trekkers needs to be familiar with the heights and altitude so, for this we have life saving appropriate acclimatization days during the trek, We also provide certain medical support for your relief and emergency rescue through helicopter whenever the situation gets worse.

Exercise caution with your luggage, as Nepalese airports may not offer adequate security. Fragile and valuable items are best kept in carry-on luggage to avoid mishandling.

Booking Confirmation, Payment, Cancellation and Other information is must before affirmation of booking any trips. Terms and Conditions comprise a legally required contract between Himalayan Magic Treks and you for the services to be provided by us and bond the basis of your legal relationship with us.
-To Book any types of trips you must send us a completely filled Booking Application Form, with 20% of payment of your trip cost. This will comprise acceptance by you of our Terms and Conditions. You need to submit a copy of each passport to our office via email or fax including two photos of passport size. Rest of trekking cost should be paid as 2nd installment at Nepal before trip.

A notice of cancellation shall be submitted by client in written by mail with authentic reason(s), and then refund procedure will be made as follows:
-If cancellation made before 30 days of the trip departure date, 15% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation and rest will be adjusted in their next trip or refunded after deducting the processing charge of Nepal Rastra Bank to make a draft.
-If cancellation made before 15 days of the trip departure date, 25% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation. Further will be same as above process
-If Cancellation made before 07 days of the trip departure date 40% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation.
-If cancellation made within the week of departure or upon arrival in Kathmandu no refund shall be provided.
-Cancellation before 60 days of the trip, 15% cancellation will be charged.
- Cancellation Before 30 days of the trip 25% cancellation will be charged.
- Cancellation Before 15 days of the trip 50% cancellation will be charged.
- Cancellation Before less than 15 days no refund will be provided.
-The cost of Climbing Permit/s already purchased is/are not refundable.
Cancellation rule for Air ticket purchase
-If cancellation made before 30 days of the ticket departure date, 15% of the total face value will be charged as cancellation and rest will be adjusted in their next trip or refunded after deducting the processing charge of Nepal Rastra Bank to make a draft.
-If cancellation made before 15 days of the ticket departure date, 25% of the total face value will be charged as cancellation. Further will be same as above process.
-If Cancellation made before 07 days of the trip departure date 50% of the total face value cost will be charged as cancellation.
-If cancellation made within the week of departure or upon arrival in Kathmandu no refund shall be provided. Due payment should be made or claimed by legal process.
-No refund will be made of the deposit amount in case of cancellation of trip for any other else reason.
-No refund will be made to clients who drop out from the journey regardless of whatever portions remain unused in the itinerary.

The traveler / trekker understands that during the course of the trip certain risks and dangers may occur including the pressure of traveling in mountainous terrain, accident or illness in remote places without medical facilities. The traveler agrees to assume all risks associated with the journey, and agrees that no liability will be attached to the company or its outfitters, employees or agents, or to any member of the tour group in respect to death, personal injury, illness or delay of trekker, or for any loss or damage to the property of the traveler / trekker during the course of the trip, however caused.
It is a condition while booking treks and tours with us that trekkers must be protected by insurance themselves that covers cancellation, accidents, health, emergency evacuation, and loss of items, theft of or damage to baggage and personal effects. All costs for emergency evacuation must be paid in cash in Nepal unless an insurance company has agreed to pay the costs on your behalf. It is important that any insurance policy issued to cover emergency evacuation for trek/tour does not exclude mountaineering.

If you have any subject of complaint about the tour, you must notify to the tour leader or guide at the earliest and provide opportunity to correct them.
