Kanchenjunga (8,586 m) is the world’s third tallest mountain after Mt. Everest and Mt. K2. Mount Kanchenjunga is located at the Eastern part of Nepal which was first ascended by a British team in 1956. It is one of the huge mountains mass, many satellite peaks rise from its narrow icy ridges. It is situated on the border of Nepal and Sikkim just 46 miles North-West of Darjeeling. It is the most eastward massif 8,000 meters peak of the Himalayan. The peak composes of four summits and four different routes to summit the peak with its both south and east side offering opportunities for new routes. It is also believed that the east side of the South summit is most difficult and far face route whereas Yalung Kang is 8,420 m high and some people classified it as a separate 8,000 m peak.

First Westerner who explored the Kanchenjunga was the British Botanist JD Hooker, who had visited the area twice in 1848, 1849, Exploration of the Skim, Side of the peak continued with both British and Pundit explores mapping and Photographing until 1899. In that year a party was led by Douglas fresh filed made a circuit of Kanchenjunga and produced what is still one of the most authoritative maps of the region. The Japanese expedition took the challenge and mounted expeditions in 1973, 1974 and 1974 during the ascended of the Yalung Kang. A German Expedition ascended Yalung Kangin 1975 and in 1977 an Indian army team climbed the second successful expedition to the main peak of Kanchenjunga. Its North Face route is surely the safest, even though not easiest. Ascend of Kanchenjunga start from a Charming Base Camp in the meadows of Panorama (5,180 m). First challenge of this trek is to fix lines start up 9,00 m of complicate mixed climbing to the North Col. It offers us the most challenging climbing of the expedition but by using Sherpa support and oxygen you  can move at a systematically slow velocity higher and higher up the mountain. It is highly satisfying climb for the all the expert climbers.

FAQs

Mount Kanchenjunga Expedition Climbing is the best in Autumn September to November would be best suitable time for Kanchenjunga Expedition and Second preferable Season will be spring end of March to till end of May best choice in two different seasons in doing  an adventure of Kanchenjunga expedition in the eastern part of Nepal.
Mr. Peter is the first successful climber from Himalayan Magic Treks we should tell you the truth for the any expedition in the mountains you must feel good and positive way also another point you should have enough time to climbing during expedition period because of Bad weather, insufficient crew there will be a part of unsuccessful point so do not look cheaper organization and short period of time could be happen anything in the mountains so you must be prepared every step of adventure our team will lead to complete your dream come true.

Mount Kanchenjunga Expedition in winter (December to February)
Winter is definitely for the more experienced trekker. The weather is unpredictable, and trails can change in hours due to snow. The sky will most likely be clear, and the scenery changes daily as snow drifts in.  On the positive side, fewer trekkers will be on the trail and lodges.  But if this is for you, let’s discuss the possibilities as lodges often close for the winter as locals go down to lower altitudes to wait out the cold so honestly inform you everyone winter is impossible for high mountains above 7000 meters climb because of high risk so choose the best time of the year Autumn for Kanchenjunga Expedition recommendable.
